Hilarious video shows cat unraveling entire roll of toilet paper – then dutifully re-rolling it back up again
We've enjoyed the antics of countless mischievous cats on YouTube, but seldom do we see one who clears up his own mess when he's finished.
Enter Willie the cat, who stars in a video which has already clocked up over 23,000 views since it was uploaded to YouTube by his owner, Michael Thompson, on Wednesday.
The video, titled Willie Is Better Than Your Cat, starts off with the adorable feline, rather irritatingly undoing an entire roll of toilet paper with his paw, before pausing and then changing his tact in a surprising and heart-warming gesture.
The Michigan-based owner, or 'Willie's Human' as he refers to himself, adopted his conscientious feline from a local animal rescue center as a kitten almost two years ago.
'I'm told he was found box on a boat in a nearby harbor,' Mr Thompson, 29, tells MailOnline.
Willie has apparently been playing with toilet roll for some time now, but has only just taken to rolling it back up again afterwards. 'I’m hopeful that the next iteration will be to roll it up and then clean the toilet,' Mr Thompson says.
Mr Thompson, a web developer with plenty of insight into the popularity of cat videos, concludes by saying: 'The internet is valuable tool for humanity and has completely changed communication. But it’s really all about the cats. And has been for a long, long time.'
